Patriots Alumni visit Boston Children's Hospital with Magicians
Patriots bring the magic touch to Boston Children's Hospital. Former Patriots Joe Andruzzi and Max Lane were joined by local magicians for a special visit to Boston Children’s Hospital on Jan. 19, 2017. The alums and magicians put on a show for families in the Seacrest Studios and brought smiles to children throughout the hospital.
Patriots Promote Play 60 in Providence
Former Patriots players, cheerleaders and Pat Patriot joined the New England Dairy Council for a special visit to five elementary schools in Providence on Jan. 10, 2017. The special guests promoted the Play 60 message and presented each school with a $2,000 grant towards their physical education programs.
Pride of the Jaguars
Former WR Jimmy Smith became the 4th player inducted into the Pride of the Jaguars at halftime of the Jaguars Homecoming game vs. Minnesota on Dec. 11. The weekend began with a Legends-only reception aboard Owner Shad Khan’s yacht on Saturday evening, followed by a private dinner at EverBank Field. More than 60 Jaguars Legends, our most ever, participated in the weekend. Game day activated included a breakfast with contest winners, pregame warmup viewing from the field, and pregame introduction of each Legend following warmups.
Detroit Lions Legends Weekend
The Detroit Lions spent their homecoming weekend celebrating the 25th anniversary of the 1991 team that advanced to the NFC Championship. The events took place on October 16, 2016. 30 Legends attended the Lions festivities. Those Legends included Jim Arnold, Jerry Ball, Bennie Blades, Lomas Brown, Jeff Campbell, Scott Conover, Ray Crockett, Ken Dallafior , Michael Farr, Roman Fortin, Kevin Glover, Mel Gray, Willie Green, Jeff Hunter, George Jamison, Mel Jenkins, Victor Jones, Erik Kramer, Aubrey Matthews, Herman Moore, Eddie Murray, Don Overton, Dan Owens, Kelvin Pritchett, Barry Sanders, Chris Spielman, Marc Spindler, Terry Taylor, and William White.
Patriots Alumni - Game With the Greats
The New England Patriots Alumni Club hosted their annual Game with the Greats event at Gillette Stadium on Oct. 9. More than 1,000 fans enjoyed a Patriots away game viewing party alongside 20 former Patriots players. This is the largest annual fundraiser hosted by the New England Patriots Alumni Club, a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth football programs across the region.

2016 Legends Lunch Series
The NFL Legends Community partners with NFL teams to host a luncheon event for Legends Community members and former players. This event serves as an opportunity to educate players on available benefits and programs, reconnect them with their former team and teammates and encourage them to remain connected through the NFL Legends Community.
2016 NFL Draft
The 2016 NFL Draft took place in Chicago on April 28th-30th. There were many different events that took place throughout the week. There was strong presence of Legends at each and every event.
Super Bowl 50 High School Honor Roll Media Event
As part of the nationwide Super Bowl 50 celebration, the NFL started the Super Bowl High School Honor Roll program to acknowledge schools and communities that have directly influenced Super Bowl history and impacted the game for the better. High schools across the country, and around the globe, will be given a Wilson Golden Football for every player or head coach who graduated from the school and was on an active Super Bowl roster. More than 2,000 high schools and roughly 3,000 players and coaches will be recognized this season. Players and coaches will have chance to deliver the commemorative footballs personally.

Super Bowl 50 - NFL Legends on the Lanes
11th annual NFL Foundation Super Bowl Celebrity Bowling Classic was held at Lucky Strike in San Francisco during Super Bowl week. More than 20 NFL Legends headed up the field of amateur bowlers for the NFL Foundation Bowling Event. The event, sponsored by the Bowling Proprietors Association of America, teamed amateur bowlers with celebrities, including current and former NFL players. Proceeds from the event benefited the NFL Foundation.
2016 NFL Pro Bowl - Draft Show
For the third straight year, we hosted a Pro Bowl Draft where the Pro Bowl players were selected to a team by NFL Legend captains. The year 1 winner, Jerry Rice (Team Rice), was match up against the year 2 winner, Michael Irvin (Team Irvin). Jerry Rice chose his former teammate, Eric Davis, to serve as his defensive Legend captain, while Michael Irvin selected his former teammate, Darren Woodson, to serve as his defensive Legend captain. Both Team Rice and Team Irvin participated in the ESPN Draft show where they selected both their offensive and defensive captains, who helped them select the rest of their team.
2016 NFL Pro Bowl - Community Blitz
The NFL’s Pro Bowl Community Blitz is an event where Pro Bowl players participate in community outreach projects during Pro Bowl Week. The projects all focus on our commitment to youth health and fitness, support of local military service men and women and the greater Hawaii community. These photos are taken from one of this year's events where players got a chance to host a PLAY 60 clinic with a local Special Olympics group in Turtle Bay, Hawaii.
2016 NFL Combine
For the second straight year, the NFL Legends Community was brought in to help mentor the prospects as they participated in the NFL Combine. Each of the legends were matched up by their position and assisted the prospects throughout the process. The NFL Legends Community also hosted a Legends Lounge during that week for the former players that were team coaches or scouts, as well as for those who lived in the area. Over 85 legends attended during the Legends Lounge over the course of the three days!
